Final touches
After weeks of hard work on this amazing project we are finally nearing the finish line. All of the core-gameplay was there, most of the art was in place, already some minor polishing was added. So what did change over the last 2 weeks?
Particles
A lot of the player abilities still had the placeholder art, a large tube or box would spawn and disappear on use. Well, we finally got around and added all of the particles. Not only abilities have particle changes, the shooting soundwave changed as well.
Music and Sound effects
From the start we said we wanted to make a game where the music changes depending on the winning team. After some weeks we finally came forward with the first song but implementing it in game took longer, it actually took until 2 weeks ago to finally have a working music system. We had one guy pour his heart and soul into the music and we are proud to tell you it is finally all here. The music alongside the sound effects are all baked into the game. All music is going to be uploaded on Oscar's soundcloud so keep an eye out!

Menu & UI art
A lot of the menu art was still missing, most of it was finished, some of it needed final polishing and we made some extra ones based on the feedback people gave us.
Character selection screen has lore explaining the characters, a ‘how-to-play’-screen explains the game as short and in-depth as possible. We’ll leave some other examples here as well.
The in-game art needed a finishing touch, it’s not that noticeable but some small visibility changes were made.
Before & after
I just wanted to get a before and after screen in this devlog so we can see the progress over only a few months.
Finish line
We finally reached the finish line. Our game is completely finished and we’re really proud to present it tomorrow for the first time. We’ve been saying “This is not the final version of our work”, but now we finally get to say: This is the final version and feedback is always appreciated of course! We would like to thank each other, all the playtesters over the week, our music guy: Oscar Tulkens and all the people who supported us on this journey.
